Love Through the Seasons: Andie & David's Winter Wonderland Session

One of the greatest joys of being a wedding photographer is building relationships with clients. It's about so much more than just taking pictures -- it's about being part of their story. I've had the privilege of documenting Andie and Davids journey multiple times now, and every time I work with them, I'm reminded why I love what I do.

Andie and David are the kind of couple who light up the room --or in this case, the snow-covered landscape- with their love and connection. When they reached out to schedule this winter session, I was thrilled. Repeat clients like them are a true gift because they trust me to capture not just the big milestones but also the small, fleeting moments that make life so beautiful.

This particular session was unlike any other. We braved 15 minutes in the middle of a snow-and-rainfall-yes, Mother Nature decided to give us both at once! But instead of letting the weather dampen the mood, Andie and David embraced it with their characteristic warmth and laughter. The soft snowfall mixed with raindrops created a dreamy, ethereal and hallmark movie like backdrop that felt like something out of a storybook.

What I love most about sessions like this is how they remind me that beauty is often found in the unexpected.

These two have allowed me to capture so many of their lives milestones, and every session feels like a celebration of their journey together. To me, there's nothing more rewarding than watching couples grow, change, and continue to choose each other over and over again.

Andie and David, thank you for letting me step into your world time and time again. Here's to more adventures- snow, rain, or shine.

If you're thinking about scheduling your own winter wonderland session, don't let a little weather stop you. Some of the most break taking moments happen when you least expect them.
